IEEE Region 9 or R9 (https://r9.ieee.org/en/) focus on promote IEEE activities and projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

IEEE R9 HAC (Humanitarian Activities Committee) focus on promote IEEE humanitarian activities and projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. The IEEE R9 HAC was approved by IEEE R9 Executive committee in January 2020.

IEEE has a global IEEE HAC committee (https://hac.ieee.org/) focus on provides a suite of resources that inspire and enable IEEE volunteers around the world to carry out and support impactful humanitarian technology and sustainable development activities at the local level.
